Bangladesh opener, Tanzid Hasan was sent packing for a golden duck by Sompal Kami when the batter tried to charge the bowler right from the word go. Bangladesh is aiming for win in their last group match against Nepal to seal a berth in the Super Eights.

Nepal asked Bangladesh to bat first in what is a must-win game for them to keep the qualification in their own hands. Sompal Kami took the new ball against the left-hander who, on the very first ball of the innings attempted to take him on and give Bangladesh a good start.

Bowling from around the wicket, Kami managed to hit the short length effectively as he angled the ball toward the batter's body who stepped out to hit it over the mid-wicket, however, was rushed into the shot due to pace and spliced an easy catch back to the bowler, reducing them to 0/1.
