Suryakumar Yadav is known for his 360-degree strokeplay and there is no doubt that he is a fascinating cricket on the field. However, off the field too he is quite a cool guy, always up for a smile and something interesting.

We saw another glimpse of his comic side during India's batting innings against the Netherlands at M.Chinnaswamy during a World Cup 2023 encounter. India piled on a humongous score of 410 against a hapless Dutch bowling and ended up losing only four wickets in the end. Suryakumar Yadav only faced one ball in the game but he caught the imagination of the fans when he was sitting in a dugout waiting for his turn. 

SKY had an interesting interaction when Buggy Cam started shooting him from a close distance. Suryakumar Yadav in his zeal to do something different and entertaining, came up with a 'classical monkey smile' - with full display of teeths, something that normally monkeys do when they see any human observing them.
