That number 4 batter is none other than Shreyas Iyer who has now slammed his first World Cup century in just 84 balls, continuing his great form after two consecutive fifties.

Shreyas Iyer came out to bat when India lost Rohit Sharma in the 18th over with team's score at 129-2. They needed a partnership and Shreyas Iyer like he did in the game against South Africa, started building a partnership with Virat Kohli. He was more fluent and quick to get going, this time around and never slowed down even when Kohli departed for 51.

He eventually got to his century on the final delivery of the 46th over, and it became the first century by an Indian middle-order batter since Raina's century in 2015 World Cup against Zimbabwe.
