Sunil Narine has been one of the finest bowlers in T20 cricket for more than a decade now and is showing no signs of slowing down. He is currently playing CPL 2024 and is delivering strong performances one after another, showing the world why he is still one of the hottest assets in franchise cricket.

In the 15th match of CPL 2024 too, he displayed vintage skills and got the better of dangerous Jason Holder. It was the third ball of the 8th over and Narine bowled a lovely delivery that spun sharply into Holder with decent pace and Holder just failed to get any bat on it. He got hit on his pad and Narine along with other Trinbago Knight Riders players appealed. The umpire also did not take much time in making his decision and raised the finger which prompted Holder to take the DRS.

It was a review taken more in hope than anything else as the Ball Tracking confirmed the umpire's decision and Jason Holder walked off the field for a four-ball duck. It was the fourth wicket of Royals' innings and the move to send the big all-rounder up the order after early wickets did not work for Rovman Powell and company.

Barbados Royals' Unbeaten Run In Danger

Earlier, Trinbago Knight Riders won the toss and elected to bowl first and the decision was justified in the very first over when Akeal Hosein grabbed two wickets. Quinton de Kock batted well in the Powerplay and brought some stability to Barbados Royals' innings, but he too fell on 39 and the home team ended up losing half of their side on 71. Royals are unbeaten so far in the tournament with three wins in as many matches but with the loss of early wickets, they would have to show a lot of character and skills to get over the line in this game against TKR.
