Famed West Indies all-rounder Romario Shepherd showcased his incredible all-round prowess in Mumbai Indians' ongoing IPL 2024 match against Delhi Capitals at the iconic Wankhede Stadium in Mumbai. 

After helping MI finish things on a high note through a belligerent 10-ball 39*, Shepherd exhibited his class with the ball, getting the prized scalp of DC's in-form opener David Warner. 

The incident occurred in the fourth over of DC's innings when MI skipper Hardik Pandya brought Shepherd into the attack to break the opening stand between Warner and Prithvi Shaw. His move paid rich dividends for the hosts, as the medium pacer removed Warner. 

After beginning his over with two tight deliveries, Shepherd conceded a six, with Warner hammering him over the mid-wicket stand. However, he took the pace off and deceived Warner, who chipped the next ball in the air to depart for a ten-ball eight. 

Following Warner's dismissal, young Bengal batter Abhishek Porel joined Prithvi Shaw in the middle to steady the ship for the Capitals. Shaw has looked good so far, playing several delightful shots to wreak havoc in MI's camp. 

As of writing, the visitors were 39 for one in 5.4 overs, with Shaw and Porel batting on 27* and 1*, respectively.
