Mitchell Starc got the big wicket of Nicholas Pooran on Sunday in Match 28 of the IPL 2024 between KKR and LSG, taking place at Eden Gardens, Kolkata. The left-arm pacer, who bagged a lucrative INR 24.75 crore ahead of this season, was among the picks of the bowlers for the Purple and Gold Brigade.

Batting on 45 off 32 balls, Pooran was on a mission to give LSG a blistering finish. However, Starc did not let it happen, as his good-of-a-length delivery was going outside the off stump was too much for Pooran to slash. The hard-hitting West Indian could only get a thin outside edge before Philip Salt took a simple catch to end his stay.
