The 28th match of IPL 2024 between Kolkata Knight Riders and Lucknow Super Giants is a crucial game for both the sides and the home team KKR have done well so far with wickets at regular intervals after Shreyas Iyer elected to bowl first.

The first wicket was taken by Vaibhav Arora and then almost everyone chipped in with crucial breakthroughs. Sunil Narine also delivered a defining spell as he gave away just 17 runs in four overs and took an important wicket of well-set Ayush Badoni.

It was the 15th over of the game and Narine tossed it up on middle. Ayush Badoni went for a big sweep shot but ended up getting a top edge. The ball went high in the air towards deep square leg and young Angkrish Raghuvanshi in the deep took the catch comfortably.

It was a crucial wicket because Badoni played well in the last game as well, and was looking set to explode in the final overs. The match is at Eden Gardens so naturally the stadium in painted in purple with passionate crowd right behind Shreyas Iyer and co. Among those supporting KKR, are Shahrukh Khan and his daughter Suhana Khan along with Ananya Pandey who is a good friend of Suhana.

They would be hoping that KKR goes onto win this match and build their dominance at home this time around.
