Ramandeep Singh pulled off a spectacular catch on Sunday afternoon at Eden Gardens, Kolkata, which allowed Mitchell Starc to get his first wicket of the day during Kolkata Knight Riders' (KKR) IPL 2024 clash against Lucknow Super Giants (LSG).

After Shreyas Iyer won the toss and asked LSG to bat first, Starc conceded 18 off his first two overs. Yet, Shreyas decided to give him the third over inside the Powerplay, which eventually paid off.

It was a length delivery by Starc going away outside the off stump, which Hooda, batting on 8 off 10 balls, attempted to drive on the up. Placed at backward point, Ramandeep dived at his full stretch, and completed a brilliant catch with both hands.

Needless to say, Starc, as well as the rest of the KKR players and supporters, were delighted to see Ramandeep pull off a catch which will go down as one of the best catches of this season.

At the time of writing this, KL Rahul and Ayush Badoni are in the middle, batting on 54/2 after 7.1 overs. For KKR, Starc picked up a wicket, while Vaibhav Arora took the other one.
