SRH’s firebrand opener Abhishek Sharma made his mark with the ball, albeit for the Agri Kings Knights in match number six of the ongoing Sher-E-Punjab T20 Cup 2024. Leading his side and opening the bowling alongside Ayush Goyal, Abhishek cleaned up Royal Phantoms number three and wicketkeeper-batter Eish Rao with some sharp turn in the third over of the match.

The 23-year-old all-round apparent eventually finished with impressive figures 1-21 from his four overs, even as the Phantoms went on to amass a staggering 185-6 upfront.

The cricketer even plundered three scintillating half-centuries in the process, including the fastest of SRH’s all-time history (just 16 balls against Mumbai Indians).

While Abhishek Sharma is widely recognized for his explosive batting skills at the top, he made his presence felt briefly with the ball as well by picking up match-winning figures of 2-24 against Rajasthan Royals.
