Australia's star pacer Spencer Johnson showcased his fielding skills as he took a fabulous catch in Oval Invincibles' The Hundred 2024 encounter against Southern Brave at Kennington Oval in London.

While fielding at square leg, Johnson dived valiantly to grab a stunning catch and dismiss the Brave's premier batter, Laurie Evans.

The incident occurred during the ninth set of the Brave's innings when they had already lost three crucial wickets.

After Sam Curran castled Alex Davies with a ripper, Andre Fletcher and Leus du Plooy failed to make their mark, being dismissed for low scores.

In such a scenario, the Brave expected Evans to bail them out of trouble, something he has done in the past.

However, contrary to the expectations, the dynamic right-handed batter fell prey to Adam Zampa's wily leg spin for just four runs.

From over the wicket, Zampa bowled a good length delivery that turned away from Evans after pitching around the middle stump. As the batter played a sweep shot against the turn, he miscued it in the air, with Johnson taking a fantastic diving catch.

Amid the batting collapse, skipper James Vince once again stepped up for the Brave, scoring a glorious 39-ball 52. Riding on his half century, Southern Brave finished on 118 for eight at the end of 100 deliveries.
