Veteran Bangladesh all-rounder Shakib Al Hasan had a disastrous outing in his side's ongoing T20 World Cup encounter against Afghanistan at Arnos Vale Stadium in St Vincent. After going wicketless in his four-over spell, Shakib recorded a golden duck with the bat, as Naveen-ul-Haq sent him packing with a magnificent catch. 

The incident occurred during the third over of Bangladesh's innings when they were rocked by the cheap dismissals of Tanzid Hasan and Najmul Hossain Shanto. 

Amid Litton's steady knock, ace Afghan speedster Naveen-ul-Haq wreaked havoc in the Tigers' camp, getting Shanto and Shakib on successive deliveries. 

After outfoxing the Bangladesh captain with a slow ball, Naveen bowled a good length delivery angling in on the pads as Shakib mistimed the flick shot. As a result, the ball flew off his top edge, gobbling up in the air. 

Naveen timed his jump to perfection and held on to a spectacular juggling catch to leave the former Bangladesh skipper stunned. 

Shakib's dismissal brought Soumya Sarkar into the middle as he joined Litton to steady the ship for the Tigers. 

Meanwhile, the thrilling clash has once again been interrupted by rain, with Bangladesh placed at 31 for three in 3.2 overs.
