Hardik Pandya had a smile on his face while congratulating Shreyas Iyer after KKR's thumping win over MI on Friday in Match 51 of IPL 2024 at Wankhede Stadium.

After coming to bat first, the Purple and Gold Brigade could only muster 169 before getting bundled out in 19.5 overs. Yet, they did not give up on a batting-friendly track, as they folded five-time champions for 145 in 18.5 overs.

During the post-match interaction, players were shaking their hands to keep the sportsmanship intact. During the period, Hardik and Shreyas were filmed in an wholesome interaction, where the former had some word with the KKR skipper before moving on to others.

With the victory, KKR are placed second on the IPL 2024 points table, with seven wins and three losses. They have 14 points, only behind Rajasthan Royals, who have bagged 16 points in 10 matches.

MI, on the other hand, remain ninth on the table, with seven defeats in 10 attempts. If RCB, the bottom-ranked team, win against Gujarat Titans in their next game, they will topple MI on the bottom half of the points table.
