Despite losing wickets from the other end in regular intervals, Suryakumar Yadav single-handedly kept Mumbai Indians in the game during their IPL 2024 clash against KKR on Friday (May 3) at Wankhede Stadium.

However, he did not last long, as a half-fit Andre Russell got the most important wicket during the intense chase by the five-time champions.

The wicket came during the 16th over of MI's innings, when SKY tried to whip Russell away in an attempt for a six. The timing, although, was not there, leaving the ball go high in the air without getting much distance.

Running from the wicket-keeping area, Phil Salt took an excellent catch while going to towards the fine leg.

On the other hand, MI suffered their eighth loss of the season, with three wins and eight defeats. They are placed ninth on the points table, only above Royal Challengers Bangalore (RCB).
