On Day 2 of the fifth Test between India and Australia, Mohammed Siraj had the perfect revenge for Jasprit Bumrah as he dismissed Sam Konstas for 23 off 38. Siraj bowled a fuller delivery outside the off-stump line to force an edge from Konstas, and the young opener departed amid loud boos.
The Border Gavaskar Trophy final between India and Australia was perfectly set up for an eventful Day 2 after a heated argument broke out at stumps on Day 1. Jasprit Bumrah had a confrontation with Sam Konstas after the latter interfered in his chat with Usman Khawaja.
However, Bumrah had the last laugh as he dismissed Khawaja on the very next delivery, and the Indian team surrounded Konstas to sledge him.

Meanwhile, the aggression spilled over on Day 2. Bumrah opened up the wicket tally with Marnus Labuschagne’s dismissal, which turned out to be his 32nd scalp of the five-game series.
Mohammed Siraj supported the spearhead by dismissing Sam Konstas. He set up a trap for the young opener. A full-length ball in the driving zone outside off was tempting Konstas to go for a flashy drive.
Unable to resist, Konstas went hard at it, only to get a thick outside edge on the ball that landed in the safe hands of Yashasvi Jaiswal at slips. Team India celebrated with a huge cheer, and the crowd hurled boos at Konstas.
Konstas, who made his debut in the Boxing Day Test, landed on the wrong side of Indian cricket fans since his altercation with Virat Kohli. He continued to sledge Indian players throughout the series. However, taking a go at Jasprit Bumrah was the last straw, as the entire Indian team got fired up after the incident on Day 1.
That being said, Mohammed Siraj was unstoppable as he removed Travis Head on just 4 off 3 balls in the same over as India regained control of the Test match. With that, Australia were reduced to 39/4.
