Rohit Sharma and his pull shot is a love story to behold! There is hardly a better sight in cricket than Rohit Sharma nailing those massive sixes with his stylish pull shots. However, with heavy rewards comes the heavy risk as well and many times we have seen Rohit departing while playing a pull shot. At M.Chinnaswamy in Bengaluru, we saw the same thing happening as Rohit tried to pull one into the crowd, but holed out at deep mid-wicket.

Rohit was in his usual belligerent mood and started going after the Dutch bowlers right from the word 'go'.  He got to his fifty in just 44 balls and looked set for a massive hundred. However, his aggressive strokeply led to his downfall again, bringing a stun silence at a jam-packed M.Chinnaswamy.

It was Bas de Leede who got the big wicket of Rohit in the 18th over when he bowled it short on off and Rohit sensing an opportunity, went for his pull shot. He did not time it perfectly and ended up hitting it high in the air towards deep mid-wicket where Wesley Barresi took the catch comfortably. 

The wicket reduced India to 129-2 after a century opening stand between Gill and Rohit Sharma.
