The Bangladesh vs New Zealand first Test match at Sylhet is turning out to be quite a good game for the Bangla Tigers. They have set a target of 332 for New Zealand in the final innings of the Test match, and have bamboozled Kiwis, as they have been reduced to 46-4. The first wicket to go was of Tom Latham, in the very first over as Shoriful Islam produced a beauty with a red cherry.
How Shoriful Islam got Latham's wicket?
It was a perfect delivery, that pitched on good-length, around off, angling into Latham. The southpaw pressed forward to defend it but the ball seamed away nicely and caught the outside edge of his blade as the keeper Nurul Hasan took an easy catch.
It opened floodgates for spinners to capitalize, and Taijul Islam soon got the big wicket of Williamson too. Mehidy Hasan Miraz followed it up with a wicket of Henry Nicholls and though Conway showed some resistance, he was eventually sent back by Taijul Islam in the 24th over to put Bangladesh right on top.
Daryl Mitchell is still at the crease for New Zealand at the time of writing, and he has Tom Blundell to accompany him with Bangladesh all over the Kiwis.
