In a surprising revelation, Pakistan's pace sensation, Hasan Ali, dropped a bombshell about Australia's left-handed opener, Usman Khawaja, and his alleged breach of team confidentiality during the Test tour in December 2022. Born in Islamabad and fluent in Urdu, Khawaja was accused by Hasan of leaking Pakistan's strategic plans to the Australian team.

Hasan Ali disclosed that the Green Shirts have taken preventive measures by abstaining from discussing their game plans in front of the 36-year-old cricketer. Here's what he told during an interview with Cricket Australia:

"Usman bhai is familiar with Urdu. After he leaked our strategies to the Australia cricket team in Karachi, we've become more cautious. We'll ensure not to discuss plans in Urdu in front of him to keep our strategies confidential. We'll move a bit farther away from him to strategize for the game.”

Discussing Australia's challenging conditions, the 2017 Champions Trophy-winning Pakistani cricketer Hasan Ali acknowledged the difficulty South Asian teams face in securing wickets.

"It's not just Pakistan; all South Asian teams find it challenging to take 20 wickets on Australian tours. The pitches in Australia differ from those in other cricketing nations, and the local players' familiarity with their conditions often poses problems for visiting squads,”

Hasan expressed his admiration for Australian skipper Pat Cummins, crediting him for guiding the team to triumph in both the World Test Championship and the World Cup. According to Hasan, Cummins stands out as the premier bowler in Australia's current squad, recognizing his pivotal role in the team's recent successes.

"Pat Cummins stands out as the best bowler. His excellence in all three formats is commendable. Both Shaheen Afridi from Pakistan and Pat Cummins from Australia are skillful bowlers who understand the art of bowling with new and semi-new balls."
