At Delhi, David Warner and Steve Smith annihilated the Netherlands with 132-run stand for the second wicket on Wednesday. Despite the duo smacking the Dutch bowlers all across the park, the radar came on a hauler made by the TV umpire - Marais Erasmus, who gave an extra lifeline when the southpaw was batting at 73.

The controversial episode in the 23rd over, when Aryan Dutt bowled a terrific delivery, on which Warner played at late cut. However, the ball took the outside edge and ballooned towards Roelof van der Merwe at the backward point.

The Dutch-South African cricketer did his best and took a fantastic catch on the second attempt. It seemed that the fielder took it cleanly but the on-field umpires decided to go upstairs, who decided it turn down the decision as he thought that the ball grazed the grass when his hands hit the deck.

Unfortunately for the Dutch, Erasmus only checked the replay from a solitary angle. Although if the third umpire would have checked couple all possible angles, the decision could have gone against Warner and Australia.

Nevertheless, the Holland team scalped Smith's wicket in the following over on a similar looking dismissal, which went upstairs but this time in favour of the Netherlands.
