[Watch] Shikhar Dhawan Shouts Furiously After Sam Curran Wastes a DRS
Nothing is going Punjab Kings' way at Mohali against Lucknow Super Giants on Friday. After Kyle Mayers' assault, Marcus Stoinis and Ayush Badoni started taking the home bowlers to the cleaners as they are looking to post for a gigantic total of at least 230-240 runs on the board. And with everything going against them, the silk-stocker Sam Curran wasted a DRS against Badoni, after which captain Shikhar Dhawan didn't look impressed at all.
In the 12th over of the innings, Curran nailed a yorker aimed for the young LSG batter's boot. And he failed to put any wood on it. The bowlers appealed his heart out, but the umpire signalled it against him.
The English all-rounder, who was acquired for INR 18.25 crores by the Punjab franchise, convinced his skipper to go upstairs. However, the replays showcased that the ball's pitching (down the leg stump line) would have been in the batter's favour.
While the replay was playing on the big screen, Dhawan seemed livid at his most expensive player, taking his whole anger on him for losing a precious review.
At the time of writing, LSG have put their feet on the accelerator, with the score board reading 184-3 after 15 overs.
