Shardul Thakur is known as the 'man with the golden arm' and he has proved that again in the Boxing Day Test match at Centurion between South Africa and India. Elgar who was batting beautifully on 185 and looked all set to score a double hundred, but Shardul produced a vicious rising delivery, out of nowhere to give India a much-needed breakthrough.

Elgar's knock has put South Africa in a strong position and with South Africa lead over 100, India were looking down and out. Shardul though who struggled on Day 2 for his line and length, found a great way to send the resilient former South African captain back to the hut.

It was a shortish delivery, around leg. The ball was not that short but it bounced sharply and Elgar could not get his glove away from the line of the ball, looking quite surprised by the bounce and pace off the surface of the delivery. The ball kissed the glove and KL Rahul behind the stumps took an easy catch as the umpire raised his finger following India's appeal.
