David Warner's final walk off the iconic MCG on Day 3 of the Boxing Day Test against Pakistan proved to be a memory to savour for a kid present in the stands as the gracious Australian opener gifted him his gloves on his way back to the pavillion.

As Warner was dismissed in the Aussie third-innings, the left-hander realised it was for the final time he was leaving the special arena in his Test career and took a moment to express gratitude towards a cheering crowd.

The veteran cricketer then decided to make it a special day for the kid standing in the stand near the path adjoining the Australian dressing room by throwing away in his hands the gloves he was wearing on the afternoon.

The little child would obviously never forget what transpired as Warner once again exhibited his love for kids on the cricket ground by giving away the part of his gear, as he has previously done on multiple occasions at home and away.

The moment the outbound cricketer threw the gloves in the kid's hands, he couldn't believe his great fortunes and jumped up in amazing excitement and celebrations for what would be a memorable day for him watching the game Down Under.

Previously also, Warner has been generous enough to give away his cricketing gear - a helmet or a glove - to his young cricket fans, playing his role in creating special memories for the fans and making them fall in love with the sport.

These gestures have over the years played their part in turning Warner into one of the most loved cricketers in Australia as fans hold the cricketer close to their hearts for not just for his swashbuckling style with the bat but also his kind attitude towards cricket lovers.
