Shamar Joseph first grabbed limelight when he took West Indies to a famous win against Australia at Gabba, and since then has seen a steady rise in his stature. He is now in West Indies' T20 World Cup squad and is looked as an x-factor for the home team with his raw pace.

He showed that in the warm-up game against Australia as well, when he cleaned up David Warner with his raw pace. The southpaw was knocked over for 15 after he started off with a bang, hitting two fours and a six but Joseph on his fourth delivery, proved too hot to handle.

It was a back-of-a-length delivery angling into Warner from 'round the wicket and the Aussie opener tried to heave it towards the leg side. However, he just could not connect and the ball knocked over off-stump as Warner walked off the field with a wry smile on his face.

Australia eventually lost the game by 35 runs as the Aussies failed to chase down the target of 258 posted by West Indies with Pooran smashing 75 off 25 balls.
