Bangladesh's ace all-rounder, Shakib Al Hasan, has been struggling with the bat during the fourth T20I match against Zimbabwe at Sher-e-Bangla Stadium on May 10th.

After Zimbabwe won the toss and opted to bowl first, Shakib Al Hasan came to bat at number five. Coming back from a finger injury sustained during the ODI World Cup, he had been on rest.

However, he soon recovered and was included for the remaining two T20Is. Unfortunately, he fell cheaply, scoring only one run.

The incident occurred in the 15th over of the match when batting all-rounder Brian Bennet struck early and dismissed Shakib.

It was a brief return for the 37-year-old all-rounder, with the delivery pitching up around off stump, angling straight into the stumps, and finding a huge gap between bat and pad as Shakib attempted to defend it, resulting in the ball crashing onto the stumps.

Soon after, in the same over, Bennet struck again, claiming the wicket of skipper Najmul Hossain Shanto as the second victim.

At the time of writing, Bangladesh had posted a respectable target of 144 for the visitors to chase.
