The Chinnaswamy Stadium of Bengaluru is hosting its first game of the World Cup 2023, which is between the mighty Australian team and Pakistan. The Pakistan captain, Babar Azam won the toss and opted to field first, and Australia have now made him doubt that decision.

The Australian team has posted a huge total of 367 runs with commanding centuries for the birthday boy Mitchell Marsh and David Warner. The southpaw played a massive knock of 163 off just 124 deliveries and this was his fourth successive century against Pakistan. Shaheen Shah Afridi, who took a five-haul wicket haul appreciated Warner's knock with a beautiful gesture.

Here's the video of Shaheen Shah Afridi appreciating David Warner

Even though David Warner rattled the whole bowling line-up of the Pakistan team and went on to score 163 runs, Shaheen Shah Afridi appreciated his knock while Warner was walking to the pavilion after getting out. He did a fist bump with the Aussie and then gave a pat on his helmet.

This is not the first time Shaheen has done something like this which uplifts the spirit of the game. He also gifted a pair of shoes to Jasprit Bumrah during the Asia Cup, when Bumrah became a father.

At the moment, Pakistan have started their chase on a positive note. Chasing a tricky 368, Pakistan have already added 49 runs without losing a wicket.
