The ongoing World Cup match between India and Pakistan transformed from a well-fought contest to a one-sided battle as the Indian bowlers ran through the arch-rivals' batting lineup. After Mohammed Siraj cleaned up Babar Azam, a collapse was triggered, engulfing four more Pakistani batters to leave them shell-shocked in Ahmedabad.

Jasprit Bumrah, who bowled a tight first spell, returned to get the prized scalps of Mohammad Rizwan and Shadab Khan.

The incident occurred in the 36th over when Indian captain Rohit Sharma decided to hand Bumrah the ball to bowl the second over of his old-ball spell. After conceding a single in his first ball, Bumrah bowled a dream ball that castled Shadab Khan.

It was a length ball that straightened slightly after pitching. Shadab went for a defensive shot, but missed the line completely, with the ball going on to hit the top of his off stump.

Shadab has been pathetic with the bat for quite some time now and it was no exception in this high-octane face-off. After his departure, Hasan Ali joined the middle to bat alongside Mohammad Nawaz. As of writing, the visitors are 181 for seven, with Hasan and Nawaz batting on 6* and 4*, respectively.
