Shadab's clinical catch to get Chapman [X.com]
Experienced all-rounder Shadab Khan showcased his extraordinary fielding skills yet again as his exceptional catch sent Mark Chapman back to the dugout during the ongoing fourth T20I between Pakistan and New Zealand.
The incident occurred during the 14th over when Chapman and Dean Foxcroft were trying to steady the ship for the BlackCaps following the dismissal of the half-centurion Tim Robinson.
Babar Azam's decision to bring Iftikhar Ahmed into the attack paid off, with the off spinner removing the dangerous Chapman.
Iftikhar started his over positively, conceding only three runs off his first two deliveries. He followed it up with a poor ball, bowling it short and into Chapman's arc.
Seeing a short delivery, the southpaw's eyes lit up, as he pummelled fiercely, with the ball travelling through the air quickly.
However, Shadab had other ideas, as he timed his dive to perfection, claiming an exceptional catch at the covers.
After Chapman's departure, Foxcroft also bit the dust, becoming the first victim of Usama Mir. However, the experienced duo of Jimmy Neesham and Michael Bracewell have joined forces to ensure a fitting finish for the visitors.
As of writing, New Zealand were 164 for four in 18 overs, with Neesham and Bracewell batting on 5* and 24*, respectively.
