Ace speedster Zaman Khan emerged as Pakistan's saviour in the fourth T20I of the ongoing five-match series against New Zealand, getting the prized scalp of Tom Blundell.

The incident occurred during the fifth over of New Zealand's innings when Blundell and Tim Robinson were going berserk in the middle.

Pakistan skipper Babar Azam's decision to bring Zaman Khan for his second over worked wonders for the home team, with the promising pacer getting rid of Blundell, who was looking set in the middle.

Zaman had a poor start to the over, conceding twelve runs, including two boundaries, off his first five deliveries. However, he concluded the over on a high note, dismissing the Kiwi keeper-batter with a magical delivery.

It was a well disguised slow ball from Zaman, as Blundell was completely outfoxed. While trying to whack it in the on-side, the BlackCaps player was early onto the shot, miscuing it behind the stumps.

Although Usman Khan and Usama Mir ran simultaneously to grab the ball, they coordinated with each other, with the latter completing the catch.

Meanwhile, the visitors lost Robinson to Abbas Afridi soon after he completed his half-century. As of writing, New Zealand were 99 for two in 11.1 overs, with Dean Foxcroft and Mark Chapman unbeaten in the middle.
