The Oval Invincibles and the London Spirit are locking horns against each other in the 26th match of the Hundred 2024. The match is being played at the Kennington Oval in London. 

The Invincibles won the toss and opted to field first in the game. The London Spirit lost a wicket early but then Michael Pepper and Ollie Pope tried to steady the ship for the team. However, the partnership did not last long as Adam Zampa dismissed Michael Pepper in the 28th ball of the innings.

The dismissal of Michael Pepper triggered a collapse where the Spirit lost five wickets for just 24 runs. After this, the lower order of could not fight back and they were bundled out for just 96 runs. 

The last wicket of the Spirit innings saw a brilliant effort by the captain and wicketkeeper of the Oval Invincible, Sam Billings. Tom Curran bowled a back of a length slower delivery outside the off stump. Olly Stone swung hard at the delivery and managed to get only an outside edge. The ball was flying away from Billings's reach but the English dove to his right and took a one handed blinder to end the Spirit innings.
