Roston Chase has been the most valuable player of the ongoing T20 World Cup 2024 match Vs USA.

He started the game with a breath-taking catch, and followed it up with 3 wickets to stun the USA side. The West Indian all-rounder grabbed a brilliant catch to dismiss Steven Taylor, but that was just the start of something special as he scalped the prized wicket of the dangerous Aaron Jones, who looked threatening.

Chase turns the tide for West Indies

However, the game-changing over came when he picked up the crucial wickets of Corey Anderson and Harmeet Singh to turn the tides in his teams' favour. 

He came around the wicket to trap Anderson on the front-leg, as the umpire raised his fingers for a plumb lbw. Chase followed it up with another wicket, this time Harmeet Singh, who got a leading-edge while attempting to flick an off-break delivery.

USA, who have been outstanding throughout the tournament, have had a start-stopped momentum in the match. Every-time they pick up some momentum, the West Indian bowlers come back to scalp a wicket.

Chase finished with figures of 3 for 19 in 4 overs, thus puttinhg the Windies in the driving seat, with USA struggling to get to a competitive total.
