The final league game of World Cup 2023 turned out to be a memorable one as Indian stalwarts Virat Kohli and Rohit Sharma rolled their arms and picked up one wicket each too, making it a night to remember for the cricket fans all around the world.

All throughout the tournament, there were demands from fans to make Virat Kohli bowl after he gave the glimpses of it against Bangladesh following Hardik Pandya's injury. That wish came true in Chinnaswamy and Kohli got the wicket as well but Rohit decided to make it even better, by rolling his arms over in the final phase of the game and signed off with his 9th ODI wicket.

India posted a mammoth 410 on the board and picked wickets regularly with the ball as the Dutch looked never in the chase and ended up losing by 160 runs. The final wicket was taken by none other than Rohit Sharma when he came out to bowl in the 48th over and got the wicket of Teja Nidamanuru to finish off the things in style.

Rohit was hit for a six on the fourth delivery of that over and Rohit very cleverly tossed it up again, on off, inciting a big shot from Teja. He went for it but mistimed it this time and ended up hitting it straight to Mohammed Shami at long on.

It was a dream end for India who have won all their league stage games and will now play New Zealand in the first semifinal on 15th of November at the Wankhede.
