The 29th match of IPL 2025 is turning out to be an absolute cracking game. Mumbai Indians batted first and scored 205 with Tilak Varma hitting a classy fifty. They got the wicket of Jake Fraser-McGurk in the first over of the second half, but then came Karun Nair, the comeback man.

Karun Nair Takes Apart Jasprit Bumrah In Delhi

He smashed every MI bowler all over the park, including Jasprit Bumrah and the star Indian bowler went for 18 runs in a single over. He completed his fifty at the end of the 6th over where he hit Bumrah and while taking second run, he collided with Jasprit Bumrah. Nair got to fifty with that second, but Bumrah was not happy, and was seen splitting out angry words at Karun Nair.

The DC batter tried to apologise, but Bumrah was not ready, and Rohit Sharma watching everything from a safe distance was seen sarcastically nodding his head. It is not clear why Rohit Sharma reacted that way and to whom he was nodding, but it was typical Rohit Sharma, mixing humour swiftly in a tense situation. 

As far as Jasprit Bumrah is concerned, it was quite an unseen reaction from the experienced pacer, and he clearly was frustrated with the way Karun Nair smashed him. Karun Nair scored his fifty in 22 balls, and eventually smashed 89 off 40 balls before getting cleaned up by Mitchell Santner and has made a comeback for the ages.
