Rohit Sharma, the Indian skipper is known to a safe catcher and has pulled off some fine grabs over the years. In the third Test against Australia at the Gabba, he had another great opportunity to add to that list, but the Indian skipper despite trying his best, failed to take the catch.

The missed catch was of Travis Head who was batting over 100 and India were looking short of ideas. Nitish Reddy somehow managed to produced an edge by bowling a lovely good-length, on middle and leg. The ball was angling across Head and as he tried to work it towards the leg side, the ball caught the outside edge of his blade and went left of Rohit Sharma at wide slip.

The Indian captain dived full-length and got both hands to the ball, but could not catch it. The frustration was quite evident on Rohit Sharma's face as other Indian players looked distraught.

The third Test at the Gabba is turning out to be another game where Travis Head is taking apart India's bowling. Rohit Sharma's boys got three wickets in the opening session, but Travis Head changed the momentum with his aggressive batting and along with Steve Smith, he has taken Australia to commanding position.

Travis Head has hit his second consecutive century against India and he looks unstoppable at the moment. The series is levelled at 1-1 and Australia would be itching to take the momentum forward and lead the series after starting off the Gabba Test on a positive note now.
