As KKR's designated finisher, Rinku Singh's explosive cameo during the clash against the Delhi Capitals in the IPL 2024 left fans awestruck. With the team lagging behind on the over-rate, Rinku seized the moment, facing off against the fiery Anrich Nortje in the 19th over.

In a display of brute force and precision, Rinku launched an onslaught, smashing two consecutive sixes followed by a boundary and a quick double, ensuring he retained the strike. 

With three sixes and a boundary to his name, he propelled KKR towards a formidable total, all while putting immense pressure on the DC bowlers.


However, Rinku Singh's blitzkrieg eventually came to an end in the 19th over of the match when he mistimed a shot, miscuing the ball into the safe hands of David Warner.

Despite his departure, his quickfire 26 off just 8 balls had already left a significant impact on the game.

Earlier in the match, Sunil Narine's explosive batting had set the tone for KKR's innings, as he blazed his way to a 21-ball half-century. Narine's onslaught, coupled with Rinku's fireworks towards the end, showcased KKR's depth in batting and their ability to dominate even against a formidable bowling attack like that of DC.

KKR posted a formidable score of 272 runs for the DC's batting lineup, which is the second-highest team total in IPL history in a 20-over match.
