Match 16 of the IPL 2024 between Kolkata Knight Riders and Delhi Capitals has been an eventful one, with plenty of hard-hitters smashing one after another all over the park.
After Sunil Narine put on a delightful show, it was Andre Russell who joined hands to continue the rampant show. Then, to finish things off, Rinku Singh came, and boy, the way he smacked one-handed six, not once but twice, in front of the man who used to do this week in and week out, Rishabh Pant, spoke volumes.
Coming to bowl the 19th over of KKR’s innings, Anrich Nortje started with full delivery outside the stump. Rinku sliced it with perfection, and played with one hand to play an audacious six over third man. Then, on the following delivery, which was a low full toss, Rinku smashed with one hand yet again, this time for a six over extra cover.
