Bizarre things are happening at the Kingsmead Stadium in Durban as a South African citizen has hogged headlines after he took the match ball with him that landed on the streets following a Ryan Rickelton six.

Notably, on the last ball of the 4th over, Rickelton whacked Avesh Khan for a huge six that went out of the ground and landed on Durban streets. It was a 104 metre six, but more than the maximum, the fan that was roaming on the street went viral.

Visuals went viral, where the fan took the ball and refused to give it back to the security. The guards did try their best to get the ball back, but the fan ran and kept the ball with him.

Rickelton's 104 metre six was the biggest of the night and he looked in good touch but eventually fell prey to Varun Chakravarthy. On the 2nd ball of the 6th over, Rickelton looked for another maximum but gave an easy catch to Tilak Varma.
