Richa Ghosh pulled off a MS Dhoni, not just with the bat in hand but also with the big gloves behind the stumps on Sunday when India met the UAE in Match 5 of the Women's Asia Cup 2024 in Dambulla.

The 20-year-old, after smashing five fours in the final over of India's innings, did a stumping which reminded many fans of MS Dhoni.

In the process, Tanuja Kanwar, who made her international debut, got her first wicket, and it was none other the UAE captain, Esha Oza.

The wicket came during the 13th over of the UAE's innings, when Kanwar, a slow left-arm spinner, bowled a nice tossed-up delivery to Oza. The UAE captain came down the track, but only to be beaten on the edge.

Richa did the rest, as her sharp work behind the stumps ended Oza's stay after a fighting 38-ball 36. The replay on the big screen confirmed soon after.

Eventually, India won the game by 78 runs, as the UAE closed on 123/7 after the Women in Blue's 201/5.
