Harmanpreet Kaur led by example on Sunday when India needed her the most against the UAE in Match 5 of the Women's Asia Cup 2024 in Dambulla. 

The veteran all-rounder smashed a swashbuckling half-century just when they lost three wickets inside the Powerplay, as her heroics helped the Women in Blue to cross the 200-run mark in T20Is for the first time in their history.

In her 47-ball 66, which had seven fours, Harmanpreet smashed a flamboyant six as well. It came on the last ball of the 19th over, when Samaira Dharnidharka bowled a length delivery to her. Harmanpreet was ready to slog it, and she dispatched it perfectly.

The timing was so beautiful that the ball sailed over the deep mid-wicket region with ease. India's captain had a big smile on his face, which indicated she also liked the shot.
