Richa Ghosh's first outing for the Birmingham Phoenix in The Women's Hundred was a dissapointing one.

The explosive middle-order batter, who came in at number 5, couldn't capitalise on the opportunity and was knocked over by Lauren Cheatle.

The Phoenix batting was a dissapointing affair, as apart from Amy Jones, none of the batters delivered the goods, including Richa Ghosh.

On the 68th delivery of the game, Cheatle bowled a slower length ball, knowing that Richa will go for the big slog. The Indian keeper-batter missed her shot and the ball went onto knock the stumps, as the batter looked dejected and walked back.

The Phoenix batters just looked out of sorts against the Southern Brave, and no one really stood out, barring Amy Jones, who played a blinder against the Brave bowlers.

Talking about Richa, she has had a stellar couple of years in franchise cricket, and for India. The talented batter is one of the key players for the Indian team, and delivered the goods in the just concluded Women's Asia Cup.

Now talking about the Birmingham Phoenix, they finished with a score of138 off 100 deliveries. Apart from Jones, Emily Arlott also contributed with quick-fire 22.
