'Virat Ke 2 Chakke Yaad Hai?'-Fan Mocks Haris Rauf During MLC Game; Cricketer Reacts [Watch]

It has been 18 months since Virat Kohli pulled off a miraculous win for India against Pakistan in the 2022 T20 World Cup, but what stood out from that game was two sixes off Haris Rauf's bowling that turned the course of the game. 

Since that game, Haris Rauf has often been the victim of fans teasing him with Virat's name and reminding him of those sixes. In the latest events, a similar incident has occurred again, as a video from MLC is surfing the internet where a fan in the stands mocked Rauf by asking him about Virat's sixes against him in Melbourne.

Rauf was fielding near the boundary line, when a fan asked him, “Haris bhai Melbourne abhi bhi yaad aata hai? Virat ke 2 chakke, yaad hai? (Do you still remember Melbourne? Virat’s two sixes).”

A month after India's win over Pakistan in T20 World Cup 2022, Rauf too hailed Virat's class .

 "That was his class and the kind of shots that he plays, and the two sixes that he hit, I don't think any other player could hit those kind of shots. Had Dinesh Karthik or Hardik Pandya hit me like that, I would have been hurt but that was Kohli, and that's a different class," Rauf told the Cricwick website in an interview.

Talking about the MLC, Washington Freedom registered an emphatic 96-run win over San Francisco Unicorns in the finals of MLC 2024.
