Whatever Smriti Mandhana is touching these days are turning into gold. Hence, the Indian vice-captain decided to have a bowl at M. Chinnaswamy Stadium, where she often uses to play for Royal Challengers Bengaluru (RCB) in the Women's Premier League (WPL).

She even helped them win the title this year, a significant achievent for a franchise who has been failing to live up to the lofty standards in IPL. Now, against South Africa at this very venue, she first smashed two back-to-back centuries before bagging her maiden international wicket on Wednesday.

Harmanpreet Kaur, who smashed a tremendous century earlier, introduced Mandhana to have a bowl ahead of the 15th over of South Africa’s innings. And she repaid the move immediately, nicking Sune Luus behind Richa Ghosh for a 13-ball 12 to celebrate.

No wonder Chinnaswamy went erupt to see their favourite girl get her first international wicket, that too in front of them.
