The athleticism of Ravindra Jadeja has been unmatched in world cricket for some time. During India's Asia Cup final against Sri Lanka on Sunday, the 34-year-old once again showed off his superb fielding skills at the R. Premadasa Stadium in Colombo.

As Mohammed Siraj's length-ball delivery nipped inwards, Pathum Nissanka pushed it by opening the face of the bat at the point of contact. Putting himself at the backward point, Jadeja dived to his right, taking the catch with both hands low to the ground.

Siraj, fondly called as 'miyan bhai' by his ardent supporters, already built the pressure by bowling a maiden over to kick off proceedings. Hence, Nissanka had to stage a counter-attack, and paid the price, leaving after scoring a four-ball two.

As time progressed, situation became bad to worse for Sri Lanka, as they lost as many as four wickets in the Siraj over after Dasun Shanaka opted to bat. At the time of writing, Sri Lanka are left reeling at 16/6 after 6.4 overs.

While Siraj has taken five out of the opening six wickets, Jasprit Bumrah drew the first blood, nicking Kusal Perera behind to KL Rahul.
