With the new ball against Sri Lanka at Colombo, Mohammed Siraj bowled one of the greatest overs by an Indian in ODI cricket on Sunday. In his second over of the day, the 29-year-old scalped as many as four wickets, removing Pathum Nissanka, Sadeera Samarawickrama, Charith Asalanka and lastly Dhananjaya de Silva.

Interestingly, with De Silva's wicket, Siraj became the first Indian to swallow four wickets in an over. The speedster, soon, got rid of the Lankan captain Dasun Shanaka to complete his maiden five-wicket haul in ODIs, which came just in a span of 16 deliveries.

The Indian assault was kickstarted by Jasprit Bumrah, who snarred Kusul Perera in the first over of the innings. However, the real drama began in the fourth over as Siraj bowled a dream spell, which traumatised the Lankan batters.

The RCB pacer ended the day with a spell of 6/21, meanwhile, Hardik Pandya cleaned up the tail with his 3/3 and Bumrah bowled five overs for a wicket.

India cleaned up the Lankans, who elected to bat first, for 50 inside 16 overs.
