After losing the first Test match by 28 runs, India roared back with a massive 106-run win over England in the second Test of the five-match series on Monday. Rohit Sharma and Co. picked all nine wickets needed on the fourth day inside 70 overs to win the game and thereby level the series 1-1.

Axar Patel began the damage by picking the wicket of Rehan Ahmed (23), getting him out leg-before. Ollie Pope, who has been in pretty good form, then got out off Ashwin in the 29th over, thanks to a wonderful catch from Rohit Sharma.

Joe Root blazed his way to 16 off 10 but got out while playing shots one too many. England struck with the biggest blow when Kuldeep Yadav had Zack Crawley (73) leg-before in the 42nd over. It left them in all sorts of trouble at 194 for 5. In the very next over, Jasprit Bumrah trapped Jonny Bairstow leg before as well.

The England’s destructive batter appeared to be gaining momentum, scoring 26 off 36 balls. However, his positive play and hint of aggression was halted by Bumrah’s brilliance. It was a length ball that nipped back in sharply and hit the pads.

Bairstow was adjudged out after the ball-tracking technology indicated that the ball would have clipped the leg stump. Upon witnessing the third umpire’s decision, the whole Indian team jumped in jubilation.

Head coach Rahul Dravid, sitting in the dugout, also displayed his emotions while celebrating the wicket. The video of the same has been going viral on the internet. Here’s a look at that:

The third Test is scheduled to start from 15th of February at Rajkot and we might see some changes in the Indian squad with players like Virat Kohli, KL Rahul likely to be back.
