Chennai Super Kings' skipper, Ruturaj Gaikwad looked seemingly disheartened as he crawled back in disappointment after Rahul Chahar struck on the very first ball of his over. Gaikwad who looked in sublime form with his 32 off 21, fell victim to faux pas moment as he walked back without waiting for the umpire to raise his finger.
PBKS' leg-spinner, Rahul Chahar spun his magic by coming over the wicket, with a leg break delivery, that shy-ed away at the outside off. Gaikwad moved closer to the line of the ball on the back foot hoping to make it count but failed as he made a late, lousy cut, which resulted a tiny bit of under edge to the keeper. Standing firmly behind the stumps was Jitesh Sharma, who caught the ball with ease and looked extremely ecstatic.

This was indeed an important breakthrough for Punjab as they sent back the man in form. While he walked back, he chatted with Shivam Dube for a couple of seconds which did not bore any fruit as he was dismissed for a golden duck just like the previous game.
At the time of writing, CSK looks to be in visibly deep trouble having lost two of their big run scorers. They are at 71/3 at the end of 8 overs.
