Quinton de Kock demonstrated his prowess during the 8th match of the ongoing Major League Cricket (MLC) 2024 match between Seattle Orcas and Washington Freedom at Grand Prairie Stadium in Texas on July 11. 

The South African wicket-keeper batter, representing the Orcas, delivered a remarkable performance against pacer Marco Jansen.

In the fourth over of the Seattle Orcas' innings, de Kock, who eventually scored 24 runs off 19 balls, executed a stunning six off Jansen, evoking memories of India's legend Yuvraj Singh. 

The delivery, full and angled at the pads, was expertly flicked by Quinton de Kock over the deep midwicket fielder, marking the first maximum of the day.

Despite de Kock's efforts, Seattle Orcas were bowled out for a modest total of 124. Washington Freedom, led by Steve Smith, chased down the target with ease, winning by five wickets.

Looking ahead, Heinrich Klaasen's Seattle Orcas will now face against San Francisco Unicorns on July 15, while Washingston Freedom will square off against Los Angeles Knight Riders on July 14.
