Avesh Khan struck immediately in the 3rd T20I against Zimbabwe at Harare Sports Club on July 10, making an impact with his very first ball. 

After Shubamn Gill's India posted a target of 183, the bowlers were tasked with defending the total. Khan, aiming for an early breakthrough, succeeded by dismissing the Zimbabwe opener Wessly Madhevere for just 1 run.

The crucial wicket fell in the 2nd over of Zimbabwe's innings. Khan, bowling over the wicket, delivered a short ball outside the off stump with extra bounce. 

Madhevere, unable to handle the delivery, attempted to chip it but ended up hitting it straight to short extra cover. Abhishek Sharma made no mistake, completing an easy catch.

Khan's immediate impact bolstered India's position, showcasing the depth and effectiveness of their bowling lineup. His ability to strike on his first ball not only demonstrated his skill but also provided India with the momentum needed to restrict Zimbabwe.
