Quinton de Kock has been in great form in World Cup 2023 and continued that in the game against the Kiwis in Pune by smashing his fourth century of this World Cup edition. He showed great maturity throughout his knock on a pitch that is bit two-paced and has taken South Africa to a very strong position again. However, just when he was looking to explode, Tim Southee who is playing his first game of World Cup 2023, got the better of him with a classical off-cutter.

The wicket of Quinton de Kock broke a 200-run stand for the second wicket between Rassie van der Dussen and Quinny.

Here is the video of Quinton de Kock's dismissal -

Talking about the delivery, that got rid of Quinton de Kock, it was a slower shortish delivery, outside off. An off-cutter and Quinton de Kock who waited for it to arrive tried to hit in the gap away from backward point. However, he ended up slicing it straight to Glenn Phillips who took it comfortably, bringing an end to a brilliant knock of 114 off 116 balls. At the time of writing, David Miller replaced Quinton de Kock at the crease and South Africa looks set for another huge score while batting first.
