Matt Henry had to walk off the field on Wednesday (November 1) during New Zealand’s crucial World Cup match against South Africa at the Maharashtra Cricket Association Stadium, Pune. While bowling against the Proteas, the right-arm fast bowler experienced tightness in his right hamstring. 

Later, New Zealand Cricket (NZC) announced that the bowler would not be able to continue bowling for the remainder of the innings.

Henry is having an impressive campaign in India, having claimed ​​11 wickets in seven matches at an average of 28.64. On Wednesday, he bowled 5.3 overs, and conceded 31 runs, although he failed to take a wicket against the Proteas.
