In a crucial ongoing Big Bash League (BBL) 2024 knockout between Perth Scorchers and Adelaide Strikers, the latter find themselves in deep trouble that came courtesy of some poor batting and slick fielding by the fielding side.

Asked to bat, the Strikers lost both openers captain Matthew Short and D Arcy Short, and batter Thomas Kelly swiftly which witnessed wicketkeeper-batter Harry Nielsen out in the middle. However, after adding just one run, a poor judgment on the part of Nielsen and brilliant fielding by Scorchers captain Aaron Hardie broke the stand.

Nielsen, who appeared to get things going for himself, placed the ball straight towards Hardie stationed at covers and found himself well short at the non-striker's end, where a bullet throw from the Scorchers' skipper ended the former's three-ball stay.
