In the ongoing match between India and Afghanistan at the Kensington Oval in Barbados, Afghan skipper Rashid Khan spun his magic as the right-arm leg-spinner got rid of Rishabh Pant, who was looking dangerous.

Notably, India won the toss and elected to bat first. However, the decision backfired as Rohit Sharma returned to the pavilion early on after amassing just 8 (13), which featured a solitary four.

Following that dismissal, Pant and Virat Kohli stitched a 43-run stand for the 2nd wicket before Pant fell prey to Rashid. On the last ball of the 7th over, which was Rashid's first, Pant tried playing another unorthodox shot and tried a reverse shot, but was trapped in front of the wickets and the on-field umpire raised his finger for LBW.

Pant's success rate while playing unorthodox shots has fallen drastically in recent times and after his dismissal, he also took a review that did not go in India's favour.

At the time of writing this article, India are in deep trouble as Kohli has also walked back to the pavilion and the wicket-taker was none other than Rashid. India are 67/3 after 9 overs.
